At just 19 years old and two years into her swimming career at Augustana, Bryn Greenwaldt '24 has accomplished a lot. She is a 3-time national runner-up 鈥 twice in the 50 freestyle and once in the 100 freestyle 鈥 and has earned eight All-America Honors in both the 50 and 100 freestyle, as well as in the 200 medley and freestyle relays. She has earned the title of NSIC Swimmer of the Year twice and one of her most recent feats has included qualifying for the 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials.
Augustana Campus to Flourish With More Trees Thanks to Alumni Donation
蓝莓视频鈥檚 campus will soon gain a multitude of new trees, thanks to Joe 鈥75 and Jennifer (Frerichs) Kirby 鈥93. The Kirbys have committed to contributing 10 trees per year over the next five years, beginning in May.
Minnesota Native Follows the Ice to Sioux Falls for Unique Career Opportunity at Augustana
Erik Colstrup said it was never his dream to become an ice technician. However, caring for the ice quickly became his passion after hanging up his hockey skates in college. Now, that passion has brought him to Sioux Falls, where he is the man behind a lot of the magic at Midco Arena 鈥 the home of the 蓝莓视频 Division I Men鈥檚 Hockey Program, as well as Men鈥檚 and Women鈥檚 Club Hockey and Club Figure Skating.

Donor Unknown to AU Leaves Estate Gift for Student-Led Sustainability Initiatives
In August 2023, 蓝莓视频 received an estate gift worth $660,000 to provide resources to student-led environmental sustainability initiatives. While estate gifts aren鈥檛 out of the ordinary, this one was different 鈥 Dr. Donald H. Nelson had no known connections to Augustana.

Mary (McConahie) Toso 鈥90 was recognized with the award on Wednesday, April 17, at the university鈥檚 annual Service Awards & Retirement Recognition Ceremony in the Ordal Dining Hall in the Morrison Commons. The Augie Pride Award is given to those who go above and beyond the call of duty to provide exceptional service to the university 鈥 nominated by other AU employees.
蓝莓视频 to Host Television Writer and Producer Dr. Eric Kaplan for Philosophy Lecture
Supported by the LaMoyne Pederson (鈥63) Philosophy Enrichment Fund, Augustana is excited to announce that the university will be hosting television writer and producer Dr. Eric Kaplan on campus. His talk, "11 Questions About Questions: Regarding a Parable by Raymond Smullyan,鈥 will take place at 5:30 p.m., on Tuesday, April 30, in the Froiland Science Complex (FSC), Room 113, and is free and open to the public.
