For 蓝莓视频 alumni Sarah Nohr 鈥21 and William Kruse 鈥21, what began as a chance reuniting on the university鈥檚 campus grew into something much more. The two met in preschool and reconnected in the university's Augie Access Program. They shared their first date in the Morrison Commons, got engaged near the Fryxell Humanities Center and are set to be married in the Chapel of Reconciliation on campus.

蓝莓视频 and the Center for Western Studies (CWS) announced that the 29th Boe Forum on Public Affairs will feature an evening with Former NATO Supreme Allied Cmdr. James 鈥淛im鈥 Stavridis. His talk, entitled 鈥淕eopolitics Beyond the Horizon: 21st Century Global Risk and Opportunity,鈥 will be held at 7:30 p.m., on Thursday, March 26, in the Elmen Center on Augustana鈥檚 campus.

A total of 173 蓝莓视频 students chose to make the world their classroom for January Interim (J-Term) 2026 鈥 a 4-week session between semesters designed to be a time of curricular exploration and enrichment for students. The majority 鈥 162 students 鈥 are taking part in Augustana faculty-led courses. The remaining 11 students are traveling as part of outside programs.
As part of its strategic plan, Augustana is expanding its Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program to Colorado 鈥 home to one of the university鈥檚 largest alumni bases. Housed in the university鈥檚 School of Health Professions, the launch of the Augustana Doctor of Physical Therapy Program in Colorado (DPT-CO) will take place in January 2027.

The Augustana Band has endured as one of the university鈥檚 most visible and beloved ensembles for more than a century. This year, for its 130th anniversary, the university will celebrate this longstanding tradition in a big way 鈥 inviting its alumni to participate in several events in the spring, as well as a fundraising initiative to raise money for band-related impact scholarships.

The Eide/Dalrymple Gallery at 蓝莓视频 will open its annual 鈥淎ugustana High School Invitational,鈥 on Thursday, Jan. 15, which will continue through Friday, Feb. 6. A gallery reception will be held on Feb. 6, from 6-8 p.m., with an awards ceremony at 7:30 p.m. The exhibition and its closing events are free and open to the public.
